This proposal aims to increase and enhance the corporate presence of ADSHARES in the Decentraland metaverse by minting the company name as a non-fungible token and upgrading the current building to a more modern and visually appealing one.
Motivation:
Having a strong presence in the Decentraland metaverse can bring numerous benefits to ADSHARES, such as increased brand recognition and the ability to connect with potential clients and partners in a unique and immersive way. By minting the company name as an NFT, ADSHARES can demonstrate its commitment to the metaverse and establish itself as a leader in the space. Additionally, minting the name as an NFT enables future possibilities of using subdomains as it is an ENS domain. As for the upgraded building, it will provide a more professional and appealing environment for these connections to take place. I suggest requesting a budget for the building upgrade or collaborating with one of the design studios that has an alliance with ADSHARES.
Specification:
To mint the ADSHARES name as an NFT, we will use the Decentraland Name Builder and follow the necessary steps to complete the process. For the building upgrade, we should work with a experienced architects/designers to create a modern and visually appealing design that reflects the values and identity of ADSHARES. Or we can also choose a pre-designed on a marketplace.

A detailed breakdown of costs will be provided prior to the start of the project.

Hello Lean, this is something which has been discussed recently.
As much as the first steps are relatively easy (ie. the Name Minting and Wallet decision).
I would like to explore the later parts more:
Parcel selection / rental. There are many parcels integrated with the ADSHARES protocol, where the team has “Operator” rights - many in more and better-exposed areas. This comes with additional sub-point of selecting the Parcel address.
Establishing a permanent presence, with a building - I’m keen to explore. We know there are cheap, ready-made designs, or even Buildings that come with Parcel rental for free. As you mentioned - these may not provide enough visibility / aesthetics.
From our estimates - the design and build would be closer to USD 10K - if you have examples of cheaper builds - that would help.
I would also add that establishing a PoI (Point of Interest - ie. a “STAR” on the map) would be a part of this “increasing presence”.
I think it’s a good idea, the appearance itself gives a lot, especially nowadays. Young users are now visual learners and this will certainly work. The costs are low, so why not.
Regarding the first point, I was not aware of the possibility of utilizing parcels integrated with the ADSHARES protocol. That’s interesting.
I agree with the second point, and I understand that ready-made designs may not provide the visibility and aesthetics we are looking for.
For the third point, I may have underestimated the budget based on the fees for an independent designer and the development of a basic 1x1 structure with only one floor. However, a more significant development with an AAA design study will likely have a budget closer to the one you mentioned.
I also agree with the fourth point and think it would be beneficial to add a PoI, or “STAR” on the map, as part of increasing our presence. To achieve this, however, the proposal must be submitted in advance to the DCL DAO for approval. I also add that it can be included on Places, a new feature DCL implemented recently to find locations

The structure of the idea is excellent, the steps are written out, and everything is as if it were ideal, but.
I was left thinking about the following things:
I’m not sure if the finished building can be copy-pasted into a new area later ?
If not, I think you should choose a plot of land that is in a densely flowed place before the office is upgraded so that you don’t have to relocate later.
This proposal should bring huge awareness to the company if it all can get done. Can tell all it of thought has been but into this well thought out and detailed info

As I understand, if you have the GLB file for the building design and you own another parcel, it is possible to move the building to a new location.
I agree that the location of the parcel is an important factor to consider. However, sometimes even a seemingly bad location can change suddenly. There have been cases where parcels have been revalued because a new building from a recently launched P2E game appeared as a neighbor and attracted a lot of traffic.
Good idea. Decentraland is growing and there are more and more users. By being more visible there, you can get a lot of interest in the @adshares project, especially young people from #web3.

I am definitely in favor of it, the implementation of this proposal will certainly help in greater recognition of the project. This treatment will help to increase the community of the project. Thanks to it, more people will hear about what Adshares does and how good the project is. The budget of this task is not large compared to the benefits it can bring.
Any activities that can increase the visibility of the project are good.
The key, however, is the cost-benefit ratio. Unfortunately, I do not have the appropriate knowledge to say absolutely whether it makes economic sense. I don’t know what the process of designing and building a plot looks like in practice. For me, both $100 and $10,000 can be real.
I keep my fingers crossed for every idea that will contribute to the development of the project. I will follow the development of this proposal. I am waiting for a project to finally appear that will bring real profits resulting from the conducted activity, and not only from speculation on the price of the token. I think that ADSHARES has a real chance to become such a project.

Please be aware that DAO today does not have any ADS budget to spend yet. We are looking for donors and ideas on how to plan development of all processes. So, today we can only agree to Develop this and some entity will need to sponsor it.
Adshares doesn’t own any DCL parcel yet (there is Sandbox and Otherside already purchased), so we need to get one.
So, when creating DCL headquarter we need to think about other metaverses as well (make it easy to render in other virtual worlds).
I think that the proposal
0xLean is very good because a representative building in a good location with a lot of traffic would bring the company even greater recognition in Decentraland and it would translate into a greater number of users interested in the project itself.
One of the disadvantages of this investment I see in the appropriate design of the building and location, which may cost money, but I think that in the long run it will bring measurable benefits to Adshares.

That’s a brilliant idea to create the Adshares building in Decentraland. We’re having more and more banners in DCL and some of them could display the announcement of opening the building. There is a lot of possibilities for the inside like information about the project, tokenomics, website etc. Decentraland is definitely a place where it’s worth to get more attention and there is an existing user base
Special Adshares NFT in Decentraland can be good option to bonus advertise. But I don’t know what special utility can have this NFT and for who should be available (Partners or Users). So NFT in my opinion is other task not related to new building and shoul have new AIP. Or maybe i don’t see this relation.
In my opinion, a very good idea would translate into more users interested in the project itself.
The downside may be the cost of creating such a building.
